Vanessa
Vanessa is the founder and proud owner of Mischicks Day Spa, bringing over 22 years of hands on experience in the beauty and wellness industry. Her passion for helping others relax and feel their best is at the heart of everything she does, shaping the warm, welcoming atmosphere the spa is known for.
Outside of the spa, Vanessa is a wife and mum to two, balancing family life with her business in a way that’s full of energy, love and plenty of laughter. She enjoys unwinding just as much as her clients and is often found with a good book or dreaming of her next poolside escape.
Vanessa is known for her down to earth nature and strong personalilty, she is all about family adventures and simple moments that end in ice cream! She values genuine happiness over material things and brings that same relaxed, joyful spirit into everything she creates.
Jodie T
Jodie is the warm, welcoming face of our spa and the driving force behind its smooth day to day running. As Assistant Manager, her bubbly personality and natural charm instantly put clients at ease the moment they arrive, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the spa.
She has a real talent for looking after people, ensuring every spa day guest feels cared for, whether they’re unwinding in the hot tub or enjoying the relaxation area. Always attentive and organised, Jodie keeps everything running seamlessly behind the scenes.
And if you’re lucky, you might be treated to one of her perfectly made cups of tea, served with a smile and a genuine passion for making every visit special.
Jodie M
Jodie is our Senior Therapist, bringing 14 years of experience in the beauty industry and a wealth of knowledge to the team. Known for her confidence, humour and larger than life personality, she creates a fun and relaxed environment for both clients and colleagues alike.
Outside of work, Jodie is a busy mum of three and is currently enjoying some well-deserved time on maternity leave following the arrival of her third child. When she’s not at the spa, she keeps life entertaining with her love of online shopping, takeaways, and a good laugh.
She also enjoys more creative downtime, including gardening and upcycling furniture, alongside treating her children to plenty of outfits they probably don’t need. Jodie’s vibrant personality and years of experience make her a much-loved part of the team, and she’ll be warmly welcomed back once her maternity leave comes to an end.
Sophie
Sophie is a valued member of the team with 9 years of experience in the beauty industry. She has recently returned from maternity leave after welcoming her second child and has settled straight back into spa life with her warm, friendly nature and passion for client care.
A big kid at heart, Sophie brings a fun and uplifting energy to the spa—something she fully embraces, especially as she admits to having the taste buds of a 6-year-old (though she still loves cooking plenty of greens for everyone else!). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children, often diving into the chaos of soft play and family days out.
Sophie specialises in massage and is the go-to therapist for anyone needing relief from sore, achy muscles. With her caring approach and skilled hands, she ensures every client leaves feeling relaxed, refreshed, and well looked after.
Fliss
Fliss is a highly experienced therapist with a true passion for spa treatments and delivering exceptional results. She specialises in Million Dollar Facials and has an in-depth knowledge of skincare products, ensuring every client receives tailored advice to achieve their best possible skin.
Known for her caring and attentive nature, Fliss takes great pride in making clients feel comfortable, relaxed and well looked after throughout their visit. She has a wonderfully warm presence and is always ready with a smile—along with her distinctive laugh that never fails to make everyone else laugh too.
A lover of the finer things in life, Fliss brings a touch of elegance to everything she does. While she may have her quirky little ways, it’s all part of her charm and a reflection of her high standards and dedication to her craft.
Faye
Faye is an experienced therapist who has been in the beauty industry since 2011, bringing years of knowledge and a friendly, down to earth approach to every treatment she delivers. As a busy mum of three, she mainly works weekends, making her a familiar and welcoming face for many of our clients during those times.
Known for her fun loving personality, Faye enjoys a good party and isn’t one to say no to a drink and a laugh. Outside of the spa, her life is just as lively, she shares it with her two dogs, a Jack Russell and her Pomeranian, Chop and has somehow managed the impressive feat of moving house five times in five years!
Faye is also known for her thoughtful nature, especially her knack for remembering birthdays something her clients and colleagues always appreciate. With her experience, warmth and vibrant personality, she’s a much-loved part of the team.
Bella
Bella is a bright and dedicated member of the team, currently balancing her studies at sixth form alongside her role at Mischicks. Despite being one of the younger members of the team, she is incredibly sensible, mature and has a natural professionalism that shines through in everything she does.
You’ll find Bella working on reception on Sundays, where she takes great care in looking after our wonderful clients,whether you’re relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying your afternoon tea. She ensures everything runs smoothly with a calm and friendly approach.
Bella has a real passion for creativity and marketing and is often the talent behind many of the designs you see at Mischicks. With her strong work ethic, eye for detail and positive attitude, she is a valued part of the team with a very bright future ahead.
Orliath
Orliath is a talented therapist with 4 years of experience in the beauty industry, bringing both skill and a vibrant personality to the team. Originally from Belfast, she’s known not only for her expertise but also for her amazing accent, which clients instantly love.
She specialises in signature brows, while also having a real passion for massage and facials—making her a versatile therapist who delivers relaxing and results-driven treatments. Orliath has been living in the UK for almost a year with her auntie, enjoying quality time with her cousins and settling into life here.
At 22, she brings a fun, fresh energy to the spa. She loves meeting new people, socialising, and making the most of life—something that shines through in her friendly, approachable nature with every client she meets.
Jess
Jess is a valued member of the team who works at Mischicks during her university breaks, bringing a calm, friendly presence to the spa. She is currently studying medicine, reflecting her intelligence, dedication and strong work ethic.
Having been part of the team for almost two years, Jess always enjoys returning and reconnecting with both colleagues and clients. As a local girl, Mischicks is the perfect place for her to work when she’s home and she fits seamlessly into the team every time she’s back.
Jess is known for her maturity and bright, thoughtful nature, making her a real asset to the business. Outside of work, she is very family oriented and loves spending quality time with her mum and siblings, something that shines through in her warm and caring personality.
